Why a center for transport and infrastructure management?
"Transport and Infrastructure may not be deemed as essential to development and equal opportunity as education or health , but it is often just behind." (Gómez-Ibáñez, 2003)
With the support of the IE Foundation and top-level global companies in the transport and infrastructure sector, the Center carries out activities, seminars and reports that will serve to reflect and disseminate knowledge in these areas.
OUR VISION
To be center of reference for the analysis of transport, especially railway transport, mobility, logistics and infrastructure management in an independent academic ecosystem for the generation of research and knowledge in the field.
Our Goals
To achieve our mission, we have set 4 clear objectives:
To create opinion regarding key issues for the future of mobility, transport and infrastructure management in both, national and international markets.
To perform Policy Analysis and Policy Recommendations in these fields.
To be a center of reference for Policy Makers, professionals and companies, as well as to cover gaps in studies and proposals by conducting applied research in these area of transport and infraestructures.
To elaborate periodic studies and carry out academic research that can be used in the training of managers.
